Student Leadership

This is actively encouraged at Cobden Technical School with opportunities provided through:

The position of School Captains provides opportunities for students to lead the student body within the school and the wider community.
Students participate as voting members of student body at School Council.
Student leadership has both a House and whole-school focus. Each House has House Captains and Student Representative Council (SRC) leaders are drawn from the Houses, with a key executive of President, Vice-President, Secretary and Treasurer. These positions encourage development of leadership skills and student input into day-to-day school life.
We also offer opportunities for students to become Mentor Group leaders and Building Resilience in Corangamite Kids (BRICKs) leaders.
